WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO CLASS?
Comfortable clothing (preferably not super baggy) with NO zippers, buckles or buttons as they can scratch/tear the equipment. Leotards are totally fine as well! It can be chilly in the morning - layers are great. Hair pulled back from the face in a ponytail or braid, so the gymnast can see when upside down please. Bare feet for the kiddos on the gym floor. Children who are not yet walking (Lil' Cruisers) may wear socks.
Parents who are on the gym floor with their kiddos, please wear socks. NO street shoes are permitted.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE TO MISS A CLASS?
We give you a makeup class credit as long as you let us know your child won’t be attending class on a certain day. Several days’ notice or same day notice – it's helpful when we know ahead of time. As long as we know your child will be absent before the class begins, we will mark your child absent and eligible for a makeup class. This adds a makeup credit to your account.
You can notify us of an absence the following ways:
1. Tell the front desk staff in person. This works when you know in advance you will be missing a class.
2. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you will be missing class. Just let us know the date(s) you are missing and your child’s first and last name.
3. You can call us at 831-200-5588 and leave a message. Just let us know the date(s) of absence and your child’s first and last name.
4. You can also text us at 831-200-5588. Just let us know the date(s) of absence and your child’s first and last name.
This policy works really well when we all follow these steps. When we know your child will be absent – we are able to schedule a makeup class for another child – in your child’s spot - and vice versa.
Your child must be enrolled in a class to use makeup class credits.
WHAT'S YOUR SICK POLICY?
We kindly ask that you keep your sick kiddos home if they aren’t feeling well so we don’t spread germs throughout the gym – and expose other children and our coaching staff. If your child recently vomited or has had diarrhea – our policy requires you to keep your child home for at least 24 hours after symptoms have ended.
Please utilize our makeup policy and help keep us all healthy.
CAN I BRING A CARRIED INFANT INTO CLASS?
If you are bringing a carried infant onto the gym floor during a Lil’ Cruisers, Toddler Class or Open Gym - the child must remain in their carrier. Infants on the gym floor are not permitted for safety and insurance reasons.
DO YOU OFFER SESSIONS?
No. Our program is designed to be ongoing year-round rather than in sessions. This means you can register your child anytime and your child will remain enrolled in the class until they graduate to a new level or you choose to discontinue.
